Alright well I gave Reardrv a call and was talking everything over with him and he’s downing on the idea. He's trying to push me toward the SDS. Damn him!
Because I’m gona have to run a larger turbo to have the system working right and its just gona be too much damn power. Could run a GT3071 or GT3076 but he thinks that once the dam things spools up its gona be too much of a massive shock of power to not blow anything. If I go with something smaller its gona spool to damn quick and the larger turbo is gona have lag and create too much power after spool to keep at the wheels. I'm only trying to run 8psi maybe 10 but he thinks its gona be too much. We had to cut the conversion short but now i'm harder in thought about the idea.
I think i can have the piping and such done rather quickly but stumped on what turbo setup is gona be best so to produce the power i want with out blowing anything up. 450-500whp on 8psi with the least amount of lag as possible is what i would like to see.
My thoughts...
The setup i'm looking at now is gona be a single turbo setup with two manifolds and will bolt into a reverse pipe that heads toward the front of the car with a top mount turbo. Only issue with this is getting the Y-pipe to be even by the time it joins at the turbo. The front bank is gona be right next the turbo so where the hell am i gona send the pipe so that by the time it reaches the turbo its even with the rear bank pipe. Because if there not even then my back flow is gona be fucked to shit (Any idea how much room for play i have here before the pipe length is an issue?).
Then once i have the turbo mounted ill run a 3in down pipe with a new 3in custom exhaust under the center of the motor all the way back. (There goes my new headers and full magnaflow exhaust!

)
Intercooler and intake piping is the easy part.
--------------------------------------------------------
This is from a V6 probe, i'm gona use it as an example. The bottom pipe is what i talking about for my "Y-Pipe". The turbo goes on the left mount and then the front bank followed by the rear back. So its more or less coming toward the front of the car instead of the rear. But in this setup you notice a big difference in the length of the piping from the front to the rear banks. This is an e-bay kit so i'm not sure how well this performs but i don't want that. But at the same time if i try to run a longer pipe for the front bank then its gona have a hell of a angle in it and that’s not too good either. Any suggestions or thoughts?
