Yea, its nice to have the power back but actually, I kind of enjoyed the "rustic" living. We spent most of the time, that we werent cutting trees, out on the porch with the cooler and cold beers watching the world go by. It was very peaceful. We also a generator so we could still keep our perishables and do laundry etc.. And our local water system learned a lesson from Rita in '05, they installed a huge propane Generac generator to keep the water flowing, so we never lost our water through the whole thing.
