Something I noticed on the first day I bought the car but never thought of asking here. I tried searching but I'm not sure what to search. Exactly. Is this needed, seems unnecessary.
Yup, intake baffle. You can delete it and block the hole with a bottle cap or something (I used a 15amp glass fuse screwed into a lightbulb socket). It'll still sound stock though.
You understand basic electrical circuits? If you take a simple rectifier with 4 diodes. After the rectifier install the condenser. To smooth out fluctuations and surges. The engine is also not working evenly. The air flow vibrates in time with the cylinders. To eliminate these vibrations, set the capacity. That is the function and executes the given resonator.
