how to disable car alarm

I have a 2000 mistubishi eclipse RS. The remote stopped working so I want to use the keys to get in my car. While I am able to get in my car with the keys the car alarm still goes off... I hear I can do something with a valet switch or just just unplug certain wires under my wheel. I know nothing about cars so I'm in desperate need of help and need to fix it ASAP. Thank you

pull the fuse for the horn thats what I did, but you can get a new fob for like 20$ on amazon and program it yourself.
