About broken wheel bearing

This is to clarify one query regarding wheel bearing. I read about this topic in a blog. They have described signs of a broken wheel bearing. I am experiencing some kind of vibration while applying sudden brakes along with some noise. Is this because of broken wheel bearing? What are the other reasons for these issues?

Is it a warped brake rotor? Do you feel pulsating on the pedal?

EDIT: You could also have no brake pad left and be grinding metal on metal, ruining your caliper and rotor. Tough to call without knowing what you've checked.

Also, do you have a lancer or eclipse?

I can guarantee you with almost 85% certainty its warped rotors. A very common problem with our cars. Does your steering wheel vibrate at high speeds on the highway as well?
