How do I replace the radio in my 2006 Eclipse?

So, long story short I just want to put a new bluetooth-supported radio into my car, but after looking it up, apparently I need a wiring interface that's $110? Is there anything I can do to cut the price down on that?

brendonalgeier has a spectacular aura about
You can wire it all by hand without a harness. It's basically just matching. That's what I did, and it works great. You will, however, lose steering wheel control capabilities, and get the infamous ECOM error (but I think you get that anyways, unless you buy ANOTHER expensive harness)

New aftermarket stereo install 2006+ Eclipse

To do it properly and to get the premium speakers and Sub to work with the new stereo you need two things.

A new faceplate

And a interface, this also gets rid of the E-com error on the upper dash readout.
https://www.amazon.com/Axxess-MITO-0...s=2007+mito-01

You can get those interfaces for cheaper than $110. look around.
