Coolant flush?

I'm coming up to 124k kilometers on what I can assume is the original coolant. Car runs fine, no overheating problems, but it may be high time for a little preventative maintenance. What coolant do I need and how much to fill?

As some may know, I plan to get a few laps in this summer. Would it be worth adding in a bottle of Water Wetter, or can I gain similar results with changing the mix to a 60/40 for example?

Well, not sure about the 60/40 ratio - I know there's tables you can find online showing the freezing temperatures based on the ratios of antifreeze to water. I'd check there if where you live gets even a bit cold (though keep in mind you need at least SOME for lubrication if you don't know that).

I just run prediluted 50/50 Prestone coolant and threw a bottle of water wetter in there. I don't run it on the track though, and haven't noticed a significant difference. If you're REALLY going to be running it hard, maybe swap out the thermostat for a lower temperature one. But if it's also a daily driver/street car, nah.

I live in Canada. It has gotten cold here from time to time, but I do plan on putting my GT away next winter. I'd like to get the best cooling possible, would be willing to take a hit with a higher freezing point if absolutely necessary.

Based on my research, Water Wetter works best when added to pure water. In a coolant/water mix, it doesn't do a whole lot (if anything at all)

That does make sense - chemical concentrations and what not
