02 simulator HELP!!! not

thinking about using 02 simulators. these are not 02 sensors they completely trick your ECU into thinking it is running 02 sensors for a catless setup.

the ones im looking at can be adjusted. You take out the 02 sensors and just plug them.

has anyone had any luck w/ these??

thanks

Are they the ones that feed a signal to the plug? Also, don't do that. Just get a tune, you'll gain like 15+ horsepower anyway

Hackish has put his tune on sale for $100 off, usually when winter ends in Canada (that sounds like a never, hahaha) and Christmas

I'd really suggest returning them and buying a tactrix cable instead with that money. The tune would pay for itself in gas savings alone, but the horsepower gain is the real hot point

Yes, a tune is 100% worth it. You will gain a lot more HP and better fuel economy.

Just think, how many high-end tuner cars do you know of that DON'T have an ECU tune of some kind?

I'm not sure if he's doing a spring sale this year or not, but that knocks $100 off the price. But, it is definitely worth it. Mileage and power increase noticeably. It's definitely worth the money in my opinion.

As im considering doing the tune in a while you brought up one of my main questions i had. So if i do the tune i don't need to use the foulers for 02 on running rre headers? I could just run with the headers and get the tune shortly after and he will make those codes go bye bye?

I don't understand it all. I tried using all types of combination anti fowlers / extenders/ using one, using one drilled out bigger using two using two drilled out bigger still same FUCKING p0171 / p0174 code for a year.

the ECu is getting too much air flow because the car doesn't have Cats on it. so I don't know

I don't know how much HP I've gained, as I've never had it dyno'd. Results vary from car to car. There was one guy who gained around 30hp, and his car was bone stock. I think on average, there's a 10-20 WHP gain. It all depends on your mods and your car in general.

With that said, my butt-dyno says I got some pretty decent gains.

Yeah, with a tune say goodbye to codes. Also to the de foulers. You'll run with just the O2 sensors screwed into the bottom as they naturally would be

Thats perfect man thanks! That kinda changes my plans but in a good way! I was just going to try doing headers and so home with some luck have no codes and then do a tune. Now why not just run with codes and get rid of them with Hackish.

Oh, just a quick note. When doing your headers, clean off all the dirt and crud off from above as well. You don't want anything falling in between the head and your gasket. Leaks suck.

I let a friend be the one who actually put mine on, and he thought I cleaned it, I thought he cleaned it... Yeah. Turns out all the dirt just fell down (I was taking off the downpipe at the time still)

No codes yet knock on wood with my OČ defoulers (provided with the RRE headers). Plan on tuning real soon, not concerned about removing the defoulers.
