Removing clutch safety switch

As some may know, my switch is defective. It hasn't been a big deal as unplugging it allowed me to start the car without depressing the clutch. However, in order to use Hackish's launch control feature, I would need that switch working properly. Looking at it, it seems simple enough, but I don't want to force something and break it, so am looking for the correct way to remove it. Any help would be appreciated.

Almost positive it's a twist off, but it doesn't budge.
