I can respect you having those lights being a first responder. I'll be one of sorts in 2 years if all goes well

As for cars today, I re-tinted my tail lights. But properly. They still need a polish as it was dark when I did it (sunset at 5pm...) but they are much nicer

Maybe Sunday I'll open up the spoiler lip and tint the chrome inside there. I do still kinda like it though. Pain to do at freezing temperatures, so I heat my spray cans in hot water and use a hairdryer after it's applied

No more hole in bumper. Still needs another coat of paint and then clearcoat.

never been a fan of the sound a straight thru muffler makes, not deep enough, unless its a v8 and then when its a v8 it sounds all bass and no scream, odd how that works.

Dynomax makes some good sounding stuff for inline 4s if you wants to go 2.5inch cat-back cat-less

Plain Jane is a jewel in the roughPlain Jane is a jewel in the rough
Ended up doing some moderate off-roading just to park my car, as some clown in a Chevy Trax completely blocked my driveway (drove up the curb and through the lawn to get in)

I didn't have a pen & paper a few years back when some idiot parked 6" from my car,
and drivers door. It was a nice looking sports type car, I think it was a Honda. I had
to crawl in through the passenger's side door to get into the drivers seat. But I did
leave a nice dent in his door by slamming my door against his several times.

I'll guarantee you he'll never pull that trick again, LOL!!
I mean what was this person thinking... What a Maroon.
Oh, we where parked in the South 40, the only two cars.

What the heck did you replace your door with a steel door or something before that happened? No way you could've done that and walked away with out a scratch.

Well apparently 6" is not really that much room to swing a door,
but it's enough to get your point across. That, and you are looking
at a corner edge that is triple layered metal vs. a wide single layer
metal panel. Go ahead and look at the trialing edge of your door,
this is a typical way of manufacturing a door. Hence when some
idiot swings their door open onto another car, he/she dents the
vehicle and nothing happens to their door. Maybe they might
paint chip their door. And if I remember correctly, our body
panels are made of steel, LOL!! JK!!

Yeah, I was reading some articles on automotive grounds today and how important they are, and how they can effect a vehicles electrical system, and/or cause problems, some serious. A bad ground can cause resistance in a circuit causing it to over-heat and burn out components. In this case it was a bad ground on a coil pack and it caused the coil pack to melt down and fail.

This sounds like a good MOD for this Winter, re-enforcing the ground system on the engine. It's pretty simple to do, and cost less the $75.

I'm considering putting some rivnuts in the front bumper, and bolting the plate on that way... I'm still using my "temporary" solution from June of how to mount it (tie wraps to the grill)

With my MPG display, I actually have found myself driving nicely... I need lots of data and stimulation. I get bored. A bored me in a car wants to have fun. Fun is illegal on public roads.

Didn't exactly do it today, but I did a full fuel system flush and clean, changed the oil. Put on new wheels and tires, changed the spark plugs (NGK Laser Iridiums), new timing belt, water pump and pulleys, Tinted the windows and put in a new stereo.

Next do a guide on how to put gas in it. My tank ran out, and it's been a pain pushing it around everywhere since

Just thinking out of the box, but how about making a vinyl transfer of your licence plate.
There are a lot of how to's on U-Tube, you would just need to use the correct material
for this transfer project. It be just like painting your licence plate on your vehicle, no
drill holes, will fit the contour of the bumper, and nothing ugly sticking up in the wind. (??)

Tried to put on my winters today. Wrong offset. Yippy. Clear plasti dip might make an appearance this winter on my summer rims...

225/50/r17, 5x114.3mm, unsure of offset. Found the problem today while NOT shivering my ass off. 64.1mm center on the rims, 72.6mm on our cars

Tested my battery under load today and it didn't fair too well. Also got this horseshit code again. Cleared it as soon as I got home from work.

Made progress on a computer I'm building for my car. Gotta calibrate the touch inputs, then mounting is the final step

P0069 Abnormal correlation between manifold absolute pressure sensor and
barometric pressure sensor P.13B-126

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS (The most likely causes for this code to be set are)
•Manifold absolute pressure sensor failed.
•Barometric pressure sensor failed.
•ECM failed.
•PCM failed.

Last couple days I've kept my baby in the garage, we have 1/4" of pure ice on the roads and our city is to cheap to put salt on the roads... Temps have been in the mid 20's, I'll stay inside were it's nice, warm, and toasty... Did I say I love my fireplace, Hot Rum Tot-ties, and football. I have my weekend planed out!!!

Do you know how many amps we can pull from the 12v plug? I plan on wiring in behind it

Pretty sure it'll work. Not running very much power

EDIT: 10 amps? I need 1.2 for my computer, gotta meter the screen

I just cleared it like last time without issue. Should I look into replacing the sensors? Or do I have a legitimate problem going on?

I have always thought I'd have a hand in the apocalypse. I doubt my current software is a threat though. Most educated thing I've done is a script for a car to learn the environment around it (done in a digital set). Most douchebag one I did was a program that self replicates infinitely and spreads to all computers on the LAN (VLAN included). A fairly simple program a few bytes in size, but hey, a few generations later... That one had no learning ability. It scared me because I was worried I'd accidentally execute it on my main programming computer
