I originally got it for my old car, was about 200 maybe 250? Since I have the RF premium sound I had to buy a $100 adapter to make use of factory amp/sub, and then the install bracket was about 30, overall not too bad!

Having some troubles installing the Torque Solution cable bushings. One came out simply enough, the 2nd is seized on pretty tight and won't budge.

The new one is slightly bigger and has less tolerance. Should mean less play.

It is last year's model of this

Only difference is basically that mine runs Android 4.4.4 rather than 5.1 - doesn't make a huge difference really!

-10F. Good day to do an oil change on a friend's car, flush his power steering, and fix a leaking exhaust flange gasket, right? (Side effect of the DNA Motoring header. I don't think the flanges are cut right. It blows gaskets like crazy)

Lol, it is a serious piss off, yeah. But when I bought it I said I was doing it as an experiment. So far the result is DO NOT BUY IT.

I thought I saw rust pitting on the pipes a couple days ago and took a picture. But a snowball was able to wipe the pipes mostly clean again. Ruined my excitement. I thought that was going to be a good killing blow and I could end the experiment.

I'd love to get the RRE headers for the V6, but am dreading the install and the CEL that'll undoubtedly illuminate. Might take it to a proper exhaust shop and have them break their heads over it.

Same... Now that I have a garage, I kind of want to do it myself because I want to learn... but I still don't know if I trust myself.

Not sure how things are up in Canadaland, but down here most exhaust shops wouldn't touch that install, as they're not allowed to delete emissions equipment.

It's really easy to find a shop that'll do it. Not just the sketchy ones that are open at 2am either (yeah, those exist, and I'm pretty sure they're Chinese mafia).

Today I reconnected my EGR valve wires, and replaced the EGR valve. A previous owner probably had a bad EGR valve, and instead of unplugging the harness or actually fixing it, they cut the wires all the way down to the loom. Needless to say, I was getting about 23 mpg highway and about 19 city - with a GS.

When I replaced the EGR valve, I noticed some what I assume to be built up exhaust/gas/oil mixture. Reminds me of the oil that accumulates in the PCV. Should I have sprayed that out with intake cleaner or something?

You've got oil in your intake manifold? You might consider installing an oil catch can, I know I have.

When regular old platinum just won't do.

40% off at Canadian Tire, came out to $34.79 before tax.

Got my black depo taillights installed and my 8000k hids. Plus she's going the dealership Wednesday to have the timing belt done, spark plugs changed, tranny fluid flushed and the valves adjusted. $1400 dollars later...

Took order of my new Ferrari LaFerrari w/Ferrari Ferrari package. Real excited about that lol

Actually out looking for a good mechanic that's willing to install my headers & bushings. Not shy to pay a premium for good quality work.

Just a bit of a drive... They did a Fiero body swap onto some mudder. You can find the pictures online

Looks a lot like this one, if not the same one.

Got a recommendation from my old mech prof to see another guy with a garage not far from school. He estimates it's about a 10 hour job for the work (6 for the headers, 4 for the mounts/bushings), and that's assuming everything bolts up perfectly. Should give me a decent rate, but I'll have to put away at least another $1000 to cover it.

Why the strange grooves? Checked my Rotor and well, it seems a bit off too. Like the sleek surface part is not as wide on the back as it is the front. WTFug

Are your pads properly retracting when you let off the brake? Looks like they may be sticking. You may be able to get away with cleaning them and lubricating the slider

SE doesn't mean much. All it means is you got the upgraded package. Your 4g will be either a GS (2.4L I4) or a GT(3.8L V6) for everything else.

Put in a V8 my friend had sitting on the floor in his garage

PS: Yeah it's dirty. We use sand and salt on the roads here, because 1 isn't enough. The roads are mud most days
PPS: See that black spot on pipe 1? Not supposed to be there. Good job DNA motoring. Your weld has blown. My turn to fix it. Terrible experiment.
