Took it on the 1/4 at Sanair last night. Waited in line for over an hour before we got to the starting line. Unfortunately, one of the lanes was temporarily closed due to oil/debris so we didn't get to run anybody. Did a little burnout, launched at 3k, got it up to speed well (some minor wheelspin going into 2nd though). Crossed the line a little north of 160 km/h. Times were texted to you if you signed up for that service, which I didn't even know about until after the race, so couldn't even get that.

Ran with a passenger (my gf). I'd estimate it was around 14 seconds.

Well today I got ran off the road by an RV. He switched into my lane as if I wasn't there. It happened so fast I had no time to react other then pulling my steering wheel. I jumped up on the curb doing about 40 MPH almost hitting a light pole. I destroyed my front right tire but my back right tire is still good but is missing a chunk. So replacing both is a possibility. FML
So I decided to put the spare on the back because here it's all highway and I feel the small tire would not be good for the transmission.

********UPDATE********

Only needed two tires (used) $80 and I was back on the road! The cheapest wreck I have ever been in!!

$7800 is a king's ransom. I paid $6100 for my GT two years ago, be lucky if it's worth 5k now (keep in mind that's Canadian dollars)

Spyders have held their value much better around these parts.

I'm more than positive you could sell your ride for more than you bought it for. You've got full bolt-ons + a tune but you've kept the aesthetics completely stock and the miles are still low. Honestly, you probably have the most valuable Eclipse out of all of us.

Grabbed her butt.

Found her taking a nap in the shades. Thought I got my car stolen but she said it was too hot outside.

Took the car to the dealership and got a new OEM timing belt put on. apparently there are two? I only bought one belt and they had the other one I needed in stock. Over all they said it would be like 450 - 500$ but when I went to pay them it was.... $328 for everything.

What didn't I do..haha oil change and filter, coolant flush, transmission flush for maintenance. Then cleaning wise I rinsed my car off, sanded down some clear coat scratches (2000 and 3000 grit), washed entire car then buffed the dull clear coat with scratchX, buffed the whole car with 3M product, and detailed the entire interior including taking all 4 seats out. It was quite the busy day but I'm happy I did it.

That worries me. Auto or manual? If the clutch packs are starting to slip in an auto, that messy fluid is what saves you from slip under load

finally installed the injen 3" catback, we had to modify it to make it fit. Kind of scared to install a header now preferbly OBX since thats the only one i can fine atm after i save up later down the road.

Anything above or close to 2k rpm it starts to have a deep growl tone even when im not really taping on the gas as much, so i just try to shift at really low rpm, not complaning it does sound nice though.
