Help my car wont start

whats going on guys, hope everything is well. I have a 07 eclipse gt with the 3.8 and for some reason the car would not start today. im not sure if its because the rear oxygen sensor is not in at the moment, or because of anything else. bought a new battery and it tries to start but it doesn't. anybody have an issue like this before... Should the oxygen sensor not being there cause it not to start

check timing belt...and scan for codes.

a bad O2 sensor will not prevent the engine from running...

True it should start, but if the sensor hole is not pluged you'll loose lots of back pressure and burn your exhaust valves... LOL!!

Why don't you have the sensor pluged in???

When Installed are you getting a SES light??

Is your rear Pre-Cat/exhaust manifold plugged??

Check the fuseable link, it's located on the positive battery cable.
