Front Bumper cover

So just an hour ago, I send my gf out for some food. I get a call from her saying the bumper fell off.

So I show up and the holes straight under the hood where the bumper cover sits on the chassy have been ripped. I look under the car and there are some decent sized holes in it. After coming clean, she said that she pulled out of the parking lot. I know since the car sits pretty low that she probably got the bottom of the bumper caught on one of the parking blocks and when she reversed pulled it off. Then as she was driving it loosened. So I'm kind of bummed however I know it is an easy fix. The only major damaged is under the bumper cover where the bumper got caught which is unnoticeable because who looks under cars, and where the rivets ripped. But I know those can be reinforced.

With that said, I do have a set of gloss black Halos on the way! And I know the bumper has to be off anyway to install them, But what would you guys recommend? Should I use the same bumper? Or buy a new one? I saw one from carparts.com for $55, and a paint shop around here will sell a pint of paint for around $40. Seems like a pretty cheap fix, I was thinking about painting the bumper anyway because it had road rash that really bugged me. -_- I may also use this as an opportunity to get a custom bumper cover, however when I googled it, I couldn't find any! Unless someone has an Ultra Red Pearl OE bumper they can part with, I'd be willing to buy!!!

What would you guys do?

If you get a good price on a paint job, go for the new one. Never a bad thing to have new looking things!

You have a 2007, you can just upgrade the bumper to a 09+ and fog lights.

Didn't think about that, may look into it. On the paint, I have a family member who used to work at a body shop and now does body work on the side. he actually just painted my other car (98 Chevy Lumina) so the paint job would be free, he would just have me buy the paint.

Here's a pic of my other car he painted. The paint before was faded and had bad oxidation on the roof, hood and trunk

Update

So, I took it to my uncle who remounted and reinforced the bumper. Here is the result:

It came out pretty clean. You wouldn't even noticed it was ripped off. The only thing is there is a piece on the bottom of the bumper where it got caught sticking out but you can't really see it. However, the paint did crack on some places due to the stress when it was hanging :/ not to bummed because it already had some paint chips and cracks in it from road debris. Could have been worse though!
