Gt tb

Has ayone else after swapping noticed, quicker throttle response, more oomph in the bottom end, However less of an oomph when MIVEC kicks in?

that doesn't sound good. Wouldn't think this would happen with just a gt swap...I am curious to see what other members have to say about this who have had the swap in for a while. It might just be your imagination? lol hopefully.

Well with the increased volume of air, it could be that there is less of a difference in air intake. Meaning you already taking in so much air before MIVEC that the increase when MIVEC kicks is not a noticble difference

When I had my fujita before the turbo I used to pretend that was one spooling I know exactly what sound you're talking about! Love it

dont think it would hurt,couldnt tell you if it was a SUPER kind of deal,butt dyno said i felt some difference and that was good enough for me.beings how you have the im resonator plugg'd.

then no,you wont feel a difference cause as i stated in the other thread,once i plugged that res,i could no longer hear my intake suckin air at the said rpm range.if i were you,i would slap that thing back on there and see what happens.id bet you get some more power,especialy with that turbo.i think your losing the potential.trust me,if it wasnt for the mivec AND that resonator,this car would REALLY be slow.more air is more air and that res shoots it into the piston chambers.the tb is working great with my other mods so yes,i would get it.

my highway cruising is more impressive along with my lower end after the swap and i didnt use the spacer. it whistles a lot now and sounds really cool

Being boosted yes you should definitely get a GT TB

Yes the only thing your changing, is the inner diameter of the TB part that connects to the intake, and shortening the length. Everything else is the same Just remember to reset the idle, and complete a drive cycle

hey waz up guys, i have in my gs injen cai, obx headers n downpipe, obx test pipe, magnaflow exhaust from the test pipe back, and tb bypass. coming in the mail is the aem f/ic with brian harness..am looking to getting cams and a gt tb. so the question is..at this point would the gt tb make a difference?! and where can i buy cams for our gs? i searched but cant find anything. thanks in advance guys

our car only has 1 cam and rre doesnt sell theirs any more atleast thats what they told me. rpw is your only choice for a brand new cam. it currently cost 636 bucks plus shipping from Australia.

dameee, thats expensivee. -____- its not worth getting the cam for that much and shiping cost from australiaa??!! must be even more expensive. thank you guys anyways. but ill definitly be getting the gt tb.
