OBX LT header help for gs help?

I went to my local muffler shop today to get my headers installed, the mechanic advised against it because he didnt want to remove the two cats because I would get a check engine light I told him i'd come back tomorrow. Has anyone else gotten past this problem?

ah.........you MIGHT get a CEL...............and that is part of the deal of modding sometimes - CELs..............you can try spacers and other tricks to keep it off. Hell if nothing else, put them on, see if they throw, if they do then take them off if you can't live with them.

Well there is nothing wrong with the OBX LT Headers, it's just a matter of having an extra O2 sensor bung welded in, extending the O2 Harnesses correctly, and installing the spacers correctly. Yes, it takes a little time for the install and to do the job correctly, but any backyard mechanic can do the job by themselves.

You've already got the obx lt's so why not just use em...Some plug foulers will do as spacers. No real need to weld in a bung unless your going to use them without the cat delete pipe. It just takes time to do it right ...when with rre all u have to do is bold them up. Lt headers sound mean as hell on the gs.
