Well I wouldn't port the intake manifold unless you get internals or you could ons up herring power just sand it smoth aka polish them. Is say Dex's is close though.

You will need to remove the intake and take it to a mechine shop unless youve done it before. Takes some work.

I don't know of the gs but in some cases porting can affect in a bad way if you git it ported don't overport. Porting is more for high power cars or boosted cars.

Grab the fic and get that engine built...If your going to port and polish tune it ...get the most out of the engine. Not cheap tho...gotta pay to play

Gravey will become famous soon enough
porting is intended to increase intake velocity by directing air in the least restrictive way to the valve. polishing is just meant to smooth out the air and reduce turbulence. over porting occurs when you create a static pocket of air or go from a point of high restriction to a large open area. this being said it would be almost impossible to over port our gs intake manifold. also over polishing a piece is a bad thing because an overly uniform stream promote poor atomization of the fuel creating poor burn patterns in the chamber reducing power and hurting fuel economy. after all this our best bet for our car would be to get them extrude honed. the process removes very little material and leaves a fairly smooth surface. just my 2 cents
