Using a GT exhaust
Ive seen some 4 cylinder eclipses on here say they have the HKS Hi-Power Axle back exhaust. However ive only seen it say GTV6 for online purchases. I couldn't find anything on here about the difference of a gs and gt exhaust, so this leads to my question. Can a GS use an axle back exhaust that is meant for the GT in which it'll just bolt on? or does it require welding and such to make it fit correctly?

all you need to do is buy WHATEVER muffler you want. with the dimensions that you would prefer. most go 2.25-2.5" inlet with a 3-4" outlet.
then a muffler shop should charge around 20-30$ for a weld and a hanger.

yeah i just cut off the gs exhaust flange off the muffler and had it welded onto the hks. but yeah if you dont want a 4.7" tip then pick a different axleback or get one of hks's universal ones with a smaller tip. but yeah flanges and piping size are different for the gs and gt, the hks will also use the gt pipe size
