3CL1PS3 has a spectacular aura about
brembos with 17's

i may be getting a set of brembos soon but im wondering if they will fit behind 17's. i know i will need spacers but is the caliper too big for the inner wall of the rim or anything else? if im not mistaken, didnt one of the evo's come with 17's? thanks!!

I asked this same question in the "brembo" thread because I almost purchased a set for my stock GS rims but I was advised by two different people they won't fit. I'm guessing it was an issue that had to deal with size but yeah just to double check look for a thread called "calling out all brombo owners" or something along those lines, it should have every bit of advice you need.

JpRyo532 is on a distinguished road
I have two friends here running brembos with 17 wheels and they havent had any problems. One of them has 17 inch Evo 9 GSR Enkei wheels and the other i really can't remember.

so ive been reading and reading and found that some ppl have said the 17's will work with, of course, the right offset. im sure it will be close but i just need it to not touch. they didnt specify what 17's though but just that they are big enough. it shouldnt matter the brand though because 17 is 17. its the spokes that would be different and thats where the spacers come into play.

well I know the stock gt rims wont fit. Wait arent the brembos from the evo a little different from ones made to fit on the clipse aftermarket?

17 is the smallest you can go with any bbk. In less the brakes are for drag. Any 35+ off set will fit aswell I have 37+ offset on my set up with 18 and 17 would be a tight fit but would look sick. Good luck man.
