how much is the camshaft and how detailed is it to put on? and wouldn't suspension mods also be a cheap way to get some more useful power to the wheels?

ugh....long story about why i got a gs...i was in basic training for the military, i told my dad iwanted this car when i got home, so he gave me two different Eclipses, one was a standard, one was an auto...and i didnt think about engin type, so i just went with the manual transmition....and now im stuck with a gs. i'll get a new car soon enough with more horses to run.

yea seriously.. if ya didn't get this car because you loved it then really no point in modding it...just seems like a waste of money in that case.

o ok, i wasnt trying to go after you. i just wasnt sure if you plan on getting rid of it soon like in less then a year there would be on point in putting out money for parts.

Actually you don't really need a full catback exhaust for what the motor puts out with boltons our 2 1/8" piping is sufficient. Just go to your local muffler shop and have them weld on an aftermarket muffler for you and you will be fine. Search around online and you can find a pretty good deal on mufflers. I got a brand new name brand muffler on Amazon for a lil under 60 bux with free shipping. If you want to hear how it sounds you can find lots of clips on youtube of different mufflers.
