How to plug resonator on top of engine?

How can I plug the hole in the rubber hose once I remove the resonator box on top of the engine?Seems like I remember someone using some type of engine block plug to seal it up with,or something like that?Cant find any info on search.

marksmitsu219 has a spectacular aura about
I attempted this a few weeks back. Its an engine block freeze plug, I got it from autozone for about $2.99 i think. The thread stated that a 40mm would be good however I got one that fits 38mm-41mm and it was too small. Maybe the next size up would fit. I just haven't got around to trying it again yet. FYI the part # for the 38-41mm is 02603 and DORMAN is the brand.
