There is no 'manufacture recommended change interval", so use your best judgement. Every 30,000 miles is the earliest to ever change it, and when you should inspect it. If it looks fairly clean and doesnt smell burnt, let it ride if u want. I just changed mine yesterday @ 54,376 miles and im glad i did. It looked much dirtier when draining it then it did on the stick when inspecting. If its getting more brown than pink, wouldnt be abd idea to change it
