eBay is the cheapest place, but with cheap parts you get lower quality.
Go to Index of /4g or try Auto City Imports : Sport Compact Auto & Import Performance Superstore Both reputable businesses that stock countless aftermarket parts for our platform. |

Well how should I start this. Firstly thanks to those who gave me good answers and suggested the search im on a phone at the moment so its a bit annoying to do searches. Secondly I had this handle long before sonny Moore claimed it and I do not listen to dubstep. Third those who gave negative responses...fuck off.

I agree with you but just remember the senior members have been here for a while and just get tired of seeing the threads pop up with a titles that are the same as one last week.. Everyone is here to help each other and I just wanted to tell you kindly before you got flamed that telling the elders of the forum to fuck off is not only bad for you bc you'll get flamed but it's also bad in the long run in case you need help! But next time just read the rules bc we just flamed a kid for doing the same thing! Luckily he came to see the light!

It astounds me that the majority of members here prefer flaming, over the good feeling that helping somebody gives you
Skrillex - dont bow down to these clowns, your right and they are wrong. If someone who was recently pricing CAI happens to see this thread, you may be in luck and it may save you some time. Or someone may know of a place that doesnt show up in a typical search. No harm done. But here they take the time to flame you, and then bitch that your wasting thier time. yeah , I know....tools later Last edited by MACH1219; July 14th, 2011 at 07:44 AM. |

good call Mach!! I know it easy for some of us old-dogs to get tired of answering the same old questions over, and over. But things do change from time to time, new products, or information comes out, and lord know the search button doesn't always work... Quick, someone prove me wrong, someone do a search for CAI's, then filter through the 5000 posts on CAI's and give us a quick and correct answer , I'm sure after the first few pages you'll give-up!! It's much easier for a member with experience to type a few friendly lines to answer the question/s. This is what makes this site so strong and a great place to get real answers to problems. I'm sure every member here has learn a lot from other peoples experiences, that's why "WE" stick around, to learn and help... good as well as bad, we still learn. Hell, I'm still learning from other peoples in-puts!! And yes, even I suffer from burn-out once and a while, so let's try not to get burnt-out, and keep this site one of the best How to's, and Help sites around. The thing is not all CAIs are the same, it shouldn't be about where can I get the cheapest price, but what is the best CAI to install. Some CAI will cause problems, cause SES Codes to be set, and even ruin your MAF/IAT Sensor ($$). The best intakes don't cause problems, but do cost a little more. So save money now and have problems down the road ($$), or pay the few extra bucks now, and have no problems down the road which will save you money and time in the long run. This holds true for all MODS, you get what you pay for, comma, dot-period, and explaination marks !!!!

look at it this way....."do a search" could be used to answer ANY question, it doesnt have to be a common question, so why dont we close down all ability to comment back, and make this a site that it used as a search database only, that will save bandwith and the tools wont have to come out to complain |

!! Search is good for when you want to research a difficult mods, or problems that you want to make sure you have your "P's & Q's" straight before you start asking the difficult questions for clearification that needs addressing so as to prevent major problems from arising once you do start modding or working. But any who, welcome to the club Skrillex, stick around you'll learn a lot here!!

Haha I flame really stupid posts because this isnt even a search question. This is a google question. You guys can get butthurt all you want about getting flamed, not my problem. Stupid questions most of the time get stupid answers haha and the reason why we say to search is so the forum doesnt get clogged. Its common sense dude. Chill the fuck out. And the "majority" dont flame...dont give the site a bad rep by saying that. Dont get your panties in a bunch when someone thinks your question is stupid. Google will find you the lowest prices unless your looking for used. Common sense. And Mach, by you answering yourself you have contributed to the flame family...so welcome

Hrmm....I hold off on flaming on this guy and give him two good sites...
Eh, whatever. Hey man, it really depends on where you live. If you have to stay SMOG compliant then go with the AEM intake. It's CARB approved and 50 states legal. Also comes with a great filter that you can just wash out, dry off and throw back on without oiling. I'm pretty sure the Fujita for the GS is discontinued or heavily backordered from a few other threads here. Injen also makes a great intake system. The newest one to come out I think is the DC Sport intakes. Not sure about the quality or fitment on them since I haven't heard of very many members that bought them. I do believe they are the cheapest ones though. K&N makes the Typhoon intake that comes with a heat shield, but it's only in short ram style. If you live in an area with alot of rainfall I would suggest going with a Short Ram unless you buy the Injen hydroshield and even that isn't 100%. |
