A/C Question?!
Well ever since I put the Turbo in I haven't had any A/C (took my radiator out for the conversion and yeah) well I got my car back from the shop Friday
and they were nice enough to hook me up and fix my A/C. Now I know A/C does take away from power but I mean I notice a massive difference. At idle with A/C Off my car idles at approx 675rpm and -20/21 vaccum, with A/C on it goes to 450/500 at idle and vaccum of -16/17. I have to feather the gas from idle to get it going because if I slam the gas to the ground from idle the car will bog and shut off. I was just wandering if all of this is normal?I know my situation is a little different because of my setup and my fuel trims, but I just want some reassurance this is normal, which I think it is. |

beings how its been hot as hell in tn,i would say yes because those rad fans are heating up the engine compartment as well as the turbo.removing all the rubber from underneath your hood will help some.this extreme heat is fcking rediculous

I lie, it's already cold outside. Tomorrows high is 62.
It's supposed to be summer! I'm from Socal, so I like it when it's hot in the summer ofc not over 100 (grew up in valley where is was 100+ all summer long) but plzz! A lil heat would be nice.

They stopped giving kids recess here cause they are getting burned on the poles and play stuff, thats how bad it is. The heat index was 118 two days ago and 107F just DD speed is what my car was giving me, and thats after I had been driving for a while. I started the car and it was at 112 like seriously wtf

There's plenty of heat in Socal, I'm up in San Francisco. I'll be in Denver in a cpl weeks for vacation, so I'll get a lil heat over there.

an august is supposed to be the hottest month of the year !!! this heat wave had me searching on the net for reasons why.it all has to do with the recent pick up of the suns activity.jupiter has lossed one of its stripes, and pluto now has red spots on it that it never had before even though its still -387 degrees f.jupiter losing a stripe has me really wondering whats going on

elemenohpee i have the same problem. i made a thread about this like 2-3 years ago when i first installed my turbo and noticed the ac would drop the rpms really low.
still acts this way to this day. |
