I have a 09 eclipse gs that I wanna put a short air intake on and I wanted to hear some opinions on them. I want a decent one, one that won't throw a cel. So anyone have any opinions and why? And thanks for the input in advance!

I'm knot saying not to. It's kind of amusing. This shit blow up though fast but most other sights are a lot worst because of being around for a long time. know that this sight is getting older it it probably time for the same. You all are right I agree I lurked on hear reading for hours a day for almost a year learning everything I could about this car. I don't mind helping but a lot of this shit is getting redundant. The chip one will prob come first..the opening page should just be a search bar..sad thing is u can ask the questions on google and it will bring u to the thread yet..somehow people FI d the sight and just make redundant comments like Jon madden. Well ass wipe(s) first I don't want a "cai" I want a Sri. And Yes I have done a lot o research on this but I got a weapon r before I knew alot about them. The weapon r kept making the cel come on. So after lookin everywhere on how to make it work and realizing it wasn't goin to I decided I needed a good one. So forgive me for asking but I wanted personal opinions on intakes that people have personally experienced. I don't wanna waste my money again.

So instead of clogging up the thread with asshole comments, how about answering the fucking question?

i did, its the third post! you could have found all of our opinions by searching for each individual intake. if you would have done the research before you bought one you would have seen that weapon r intakes have a smaller diameter, and its basically like taping pop cans together and shoving it in your TB. Were here to help everyone, but when we answer the same questions over and over again we get frustrated. Everyone hates to repeat themselves. I'll admit i've asked dumb ass questions on here too when i first joined, so let this one slide and just remember to research, it may not be easy sometimes but 99% of the questions you have are already answered on here somewhere.

@orangedemon, sorry and thanks for the help. I have google and searched many times. I have heard the ones u mentioned were good. I was just hoping that someone who has it could reassure that it was as good as it's built up to be and won't cause cel problems or any other.

I just ran a straight pipe from the throttle body to the front curved it down and curved it left behind the fog light hole then I cut the center piece out of the fog light plastic piece cuz mine didnt have have fog lights . Then boom air shoots straight through that hole to the filter rather then having it up top where it absorbs majority of risen heat and heat being given off by the engine. Hope this helped man. It worked for me maybe it will work for you.

dont search on google dude, search on this forum. there is a search button at the top of the page (middle, right) Use that for anything you need to know.
