I don't have the TB yet, I keep missing them. No rattle at idle only when moving like under ten MPH.

BUT, I got in a wreck and my bumper and hood are fucked and I'm waiting for parts to come in, so I'm sure that's contributing. I can't remember if the rattle started before or after the wreck. I THINK it was a tiny rattle, and got worse after the wreck. I think if might have to do with me losing/being lazy and not putting ALL the screws and plastic snaps back on my bumper after changing headlights.

I'll check back in when my new bumper is on and let you know....

Weird ratteling noise coming from under the car or engine bay when at low RPMs

scroll down to clovisman's post and everything after that

To simply answer, yes i get a couple rattles here and there, but when i go to fix them they always stop, so i can never find them

Yeah I have a weird rattle/metal sound right at like 3400 rpms, and have never been able to figure out where it's coming from. Neither has a shop ):

Mitsubishi probably planted a rattle bomb type device set to detonate at 50K miles or so to try to get owners to take their cars to the dealer ; )

i can hear the valve train more. part of it maybe from removing some of the noise dampening stuff from the engine bay.
