One of my friends told me to order K&N replacement air filters because my parents are so worried about the warranty and i want something to make the car louder. Is this really going to make my car any faster/louder/better in any way? (07 gs)

Well I would waste ur money than really, cause ur just gonna end up taking the filters off when u get a cai eventually. Just my opinion though. You could bu them but you wont notice anything. Maybe a slight noise increase when u hit mivec just from a little better AF.

Well let me ask you this, im guessing your in highschool so are u going for a fast car or fashion car? If you dont plan on going for 300+ HP and just want a chick magnet than Id say go ahead and get them, If you plan on adding more HP than id just wait for ur dad to quit being a dick and let u get the CAI. I got an Injen CAI for 300 and i noticed a big sound change especially when i hit mivec its prob twice as loud and it sounds mean.

Not saying that CAI's aren't great, but I believe it's been two different members this week have sucked up some water and messed up their cars. The k&n is a better filter to put in your car. It's not going to make it crazy loud, or add an assload of horsepower, but just think......they don't have the kind of reputation at k&n for no reason. Not to mention you will keep your dad happy too. From the sounds of it, it's his money that helped get you into the 4g in the first place, so keep him happy.

i have the K&N filter in my ride, you'll notice a slight increase in gas mileage, a tiny bit louder but if louder is what your looking for go to a muffler shop and have them weld on a magnaflow muffler on there
