Trade in Pros:
-Fast, just like the GT.

Trade in Cons:
-New car, new possibility of unknown issues, new scratches yet to be discovered.
-Not necessarily cheaper
-Higher Insurance

Swap Pros:
-Not as fast, but who doesn't love working on their car?
-Intimate knowledge of your engine, internals, and setup.

Swap Cons:
-You might break a nail... oh wait, if you're worried about that you wouldn't be under the hood anyways.

Well seeing as how there's no cons to the swap, short of being an automotively inhibited male who likes to wear skirts (and who doesn't), I think everyone who wants to should go for it.
