why does my tranny do this?

i believe this is a a typical ecu safety thing.

when i drive hard and shift as fast and hard as i can from 1st to 2nd run those gears at high rpms but then through back to neutral it will stay at 2100, 2200 rpms pause then 2, 3 seconds later go down to idle...

i never dump my clutch

but when i want to push my car this happens a lot even when i am in other gears

check out the video

huh...never heard of this issue...maybe someone else can enlighten us cause you've got me interested as well. I slam through gears and have never encountered this behavior....weird.
