Can anyone else rev their AT car in drive?

When my rpms go up two 4.5k and the car shifts I could kinda catch it and literally rev to reline multiple times before letting the car shift. Its automatic and it doesnt happen in tiptronic. It kinda feels like the car doesnt know what gear to choose so its kinda in neutral.

Something not right with your car bro, I know I can get little wheel spin(kinda like a power shift) on my auto GS. I put on sport tronic and right before redline I let the gas and shift to 2nd gear and floor it again. You have to do it really fast, it takes some practice lol

Mine would rev before catching and thats nothing to be proud of Check your tranny fluid it may be really low and your auto clutch isn't catching. that temporarily fixed my rev problem but in the end my driveshaft was slipping out of my tranny. and the brake light just means you need to refill your brake fluid
