A bit of a problem!

I've got a bit of a issue with my headlights(stock). When my car is off, and everything set to off, the headlights tend to turn on or flicker by themselves even if the switch is set to off. I thought it was a headlight relay, so I got a new one and the problem is still there. To turn off the headlight, I just press the lock/unlock button on my remote or just start my car up and turn on the lights. Also when I take out the keys while my A/C is running, the A/C doesn't turn off, Isn't the A/C supposed to stop working if you take out the keys? Any advice would be very much appreciated, thanks.

He may be a noob, but you don't have to be an A$$h&^% about it!!! Just point him in the right direction and give him some advice!! I hate c&*k% like you. You bring the forum down with your pathetic excuse of being a "member" and then other people shy away from the forum because of dumba$$ remarks like yours.

There is a search funtion at the top of the screen man. I don't know anything about the stuff going on with your car, but if you start there, it might help!! Or ask other guys in other parts of the forum. Just make sure you post in the right headers so people with the "KNOW" will see it. ie: If you have an issue with your Spyder, post it under the Spyder header. And welcome to the forum!!

I'm pretty sure i've never heard of this problem before, so the search button wouldn't work. Do you have hid's on your car? And when you take out the keys how long does the a/c keep running?

WTTC! I haven't heard about this either....especially the AC part...doesn't even sound like that could be possible. I hope someone who has resolved this very issue finds your post and answers. I sure would like to hear what fixed it and what the issue really is.

We've had a lot of issues like this with the fans staying on with ignition off on the Lancer Ralliart, it's the fan control module failing, replace it now.

The headlight problem seems to be a short...according to the wiring diagram if it's not the headlight relays, there's a relays that controls those relays inside the front ECU, which sucks cause it's kind of expensive...

Do you have aftermarket HID? Of so there is a thread about covering a pin in the relay or just always have them on! I've had my headlight on the one position for three years now.

Can you be more specific of where the front ECU is and what to replace? I have no clue where to start.
