ticking..?
ok so this week ive noticed a loud rattle noise( kind of a ticking sound) coming from somewhere in the engine bay. the weird part is that it goes away completely when i engage the clutch. i can only notice this while im sitting at idle but it probably does it when im driving too, i just cant hear it. another thing is if im in a low gear and dont shift cause im coming to a stop soon if i let off the gas there is a loud winding down noise. like really loud..any help is much appreciated! thanks!

As for the wining noise maybe try the fluid? I do it every 30k!!! And just next time u do the clutch do the bearing it's 150.00

the bearing and clutch should always be done together, besides the fact that when you pull the transmission off, the TOB will probably fall into pieces anyway, by the sounds of it...
