Throttle Body Upgrade?

Hello, I tried looking around on the forums and couldn't find any info for this specifically for the 4cyl. A tuner here in los angeles is trying to help me build my 07gs/se and he was telling me something about upgrading my throttle body and doing some sort of match porting (yeah i just like to drive, dont know about all the technicals) but he said i needed to find a throttle body that would go on my car and unfortunately google isn't helping so I was wondering if there even is any known throttle body upgrades for this car?

tripplediamonds23 will become famous soon enough
You can upgrade to a gt throttle body. Not sure if there is any other options or ways to go but using the gt throttle body is the most common thing I've seen around here

Gt throttle body is the only one for the GS.

i know us GT guys can port the stock TB from 65mm to 67mm, or buy a pro-flow tb.
I was wondering if the GS guys would benefit from a ported GT TB ??
I'm a GT guy, so it would have no benefit to me, though i'm curious for those GS guys...

HOMESLICE has a spectacular aura about
I would think for a 4 cyl to have that big of a throttle body would be overkill unless you have a lot of modifications that allow more air to be sucked in otherwise it would just be too wide and your throttle response will be funky...but this is just ideas based on physics and no cold hard facts/proof that it would have some effect on the outcome

I'm pretty sure it's been talked about somewhere. I think the conclusion was it would be too big for the engine.

interesting, i thought that might be what happened.

another question, if you had the GT TB ported to spec, and ported your engine as well, would that make a worth while upgrade for the I4 ??

you send it to ProFlow - they rebore it from 65mm to 67mm. Minimal gains, but all the small stuff adds up - trust me.

ProFlow makes TB for the GS they will even paint it for 75 bucks more, so 2options GT or ProFlow TB don't know which is better
