Hey I didn't know they made that for the 4g69, snazzy. If you want a good laugh, click "See larger image". Bastards. (Sorry don't know the answer to your question, just commenting)

The spacer from outlaw or rpw will fit just fine with the GT throttle body. The bolts on both tb's line up exactly the same. If it happens to cover any air flow at all with the bigger tb, then just mark it with a pen and use a drill to port the spacer out a bit.

Not a problem man. You can do just the tb gasket if you want to. But you won't get the full potential without both. They are made to decrease the temperature of your engine. It won't be a huge difference, but it will definitely help. The accumalitive effect of all the little mods is what you are looking for.

I haven't seen any how to's that I know of. To get the thermal block gasket, you need to remove the intake manifold, which is the silver thing that the throttle body connects to. The gasket it located on the back of the engine, where the manifold meets it. That's what makes it so hard is getting to those bolts back there. Hopefully that makes sense. If not I'll try to take a couple pics after work for you and give you an idea. I'm going to look for a thread I seen awhile back and post it if I find it.

The tb one is cake though. You should be able to do that one in about 10-15 minutes if you're quick. But if you have the tb off already why not just go ahead and do the manifold too right?
This is from th other thread but just bringing it over here lol.. Well yeah that's I thought order my GT tb and The spacers since I was already going to work in that area

Intake Manifold Thermal Gasket Discussion 4g69 <--this thread has a lot of great info. It's a bit jumbled because it initially started as the group buy thread then turned into a discussion. It def helped me though. And I definitely will . PM your cell number and I'll give you mine incase you have questions or I find anything new out.

if u have the gs spacer u need to increase its center diameter to 60mm to match the size of the gt throttle body. otherwise it will restrict air intake

The spacer i have through rpw is bigger then both the gs and gt tb. Only the outlaw spacer needs to be size matched to my knowledge unless rpw changed the specs on their spacers.

That's strange, did you get from the group buy or ordered afterwards?

Okay I think I know why. The originals were bigger then both tb's. Some people were complaining about it causing a whistling sound. Everyone thought it was a leak but it was actually just because of the different diameters of the two gaskets (like blowing air over the end of a beer bottle etc). It wasn't hurting anything and some people said it reminded them of how their CAI or a turbo would sound, but RPW refitted the gaskets and molded them "correctly" from then on out. So in this case, if he buys a new one, then it would probably be like you are saying, and will need to be increased in size.

you may need to. I mean if you really wanted you could increase the spacer diameter to 67 mm but it'd be extremely hard to measure that out perfect lol Unfortunately however, didn't get to install tonight, didn't have enough time. I get off at 1pm Friday however and then I will 100% get it taken care of.
