Well, this should had been posted in the GS section and could had been found easily through the search function, but I will help you. The bypass is extremely easy. You need a 6/15th's double sided barbed coupler. Disconnect the two coolant lines connected to your tb, then connect them together using the coupler. And it is done. Check autozone for the coupler.
You will probably need to post a wtb thread in the automotive fs/wtb section to find a gt tb. It's simple to install, just take the old on off and bolt the new one on. The hard part is finding one. |

lol I didn't mean to offend folks. I just know how things work and am surprised to see this board changing for the better. Inform and educate instead of blasting someone to all hell for making a mistake.
Great job mods!

Can anyone confirm the size needed of the barbed coupler? I went to do this the past weekend, and the 5/16 coupler (as How To: Throttle Body Bypass Tutorial stated) is too small. Debating picking up a 3/8" (3/8" Barbed Brass Hose Coupler) and trying it this weekend unless someone could confirm for me.
Thank you.

Any idea where I may be able to find a 6/15"? Not finding anything online (and I know the local auto shops don't have anything).

Thanks for the help guys. Unable to find the 6/15" anywhere, so I am just going to purchase a handful of different sizes to find one that works.
