Timing Belt Replacement GT

So this may have been asked a thousand times and I know people are gonna tell me to search. Trust me I know and have. I've been around on the 3G forums for 3 years. But I haven't found a legitimate answer for a 09 GT. When does the timing belt need to be replaced? I'm hearing that if it's 08+ it's every 105k miles. But if it's before that it's 60k. I have a 09 GT that was manufactured in July 2008.

EDIT: I ended up going to the mitsu dealership. Its 105k miles, if you have a 08+

indeed, same answer as i got from the dealer.
I could not identify if the old owner had ever changed the timing belt, so i paid the money to change it in the agency .. ohh boy it was expensive here in Dubai

Joetor will become famous soon enough
Colton...peace of mind is priceless, mine is a 2009 GT and I did it at 101.000 kilometers, not miles...so if that bugs you, just change the damn thing...

Its too bad you don't live closer to phoenix, I know a good mechanic who will do it for $290 with your belt

But as we always say, its better to shell out the money for a belt replacement than for an engine replacement when the belt snaps.
