GT fuel pressure regulator

My question is if a 2g or evo 8 or 9 fuel regulator will work on the Gt? I have a walbro 255 in there now and not the stock pump.

Are there's in the tank? You're prop going to need a in line regulator with a return line. I wouldnt just block all that extra fuel and Only and a certain amount to pass through. That would create crazy pressure in the system. Last thing you need is a blown fuel line and ball of fire for a car...Doesn't the FPR have to go after the tail? The regulator regulates the pressure before it, not after. You regulate to the pressure in the rail, not how much enters the rail.

Anyone know where I can get a in line regulator for the GT? Will a universal off of eBay work?

I don't think that's a good option but you can buy them anywhere. I wouldn't cheap out on a part like that. Aeromotive is a great name in fuel parts. eBay, jeggs, wherever

Nope non return fuel rail...fail on my part..ripped the 255 out and threw the stock pump back in..oddly I am still running to lean almost like the pump is pushing more fuel now. I will run at 11 not in wot and will cut out and hit 17 in first if i give to much pedal. Prob because we had to mod the he'll out the the pump assembly for the walbro somethin is out of wack. Gunna tune this week and just change the jets to work out the air fuel ratio..to anyone thinking about getting a 255 don't do it unless you need to or are prepared to make a return line.

well. with a big pump and a non return system like we have, you will just run rich.

an FPR is set after the fuel rail, and is attached to the return line. you can get any aftermarket FPR, aeromotiv is just the big name brand. look in a JEGS catalogue, FPR's are all universal parts anyhow, you just need to get the fittings and line to build a return line, thats all.
