Outlaw Engineering Intake Manifold spacer... Received and Installed

Ok guys... Shawn sent me the spacer he got from Outlaw Engineering sense he sold his car for a GTI

But anyways I got it today and It was perfect timing cause I was just finishing up the polishing on my lower intake manifold. I bolted it up and It fit nice with all the holes lining up great. Everything but the back bolts that hold the intake bolts on great with no stress on anything.

I had one small problem with the outer two bolts that hold the upper manifold to the lower. They were to long and I had to use a small 1/16 washer so they woudn't bottom out in the lower intake manifold. I have e-mailed Outlaw Engineering about this and I am sure they will fix it before they send out anymore.

I haven't had a chance to drive the car yet because I am still waiting on Pro Flow to finish my throttle body. I have pictures of the spacer and I will do a write-up on the install. It will most likely be Sat or Sun before I will have the pics and the write-up done.

It will cost around 70 dollars for the manifold, throttle body spacer, and all the bolts.

I'm going to guess and say 6-8 hp and 10-13 lbft tq. That is compairing it to other things but no one has dynoed for our car yet (probely cause I have the first one) It may gain more.

I want the issues fixed as above, did your old brackets, etc line up? What about the EGR - look like it'll fit?

The brackets on the rear of the manifold do not line up... you could take a rotory grinder while you had the manifold of and notch it a little and it would fix it.

I don't have the EGR valve on my car so IDK about that one.... may need an extention or something.

Everything else fit perfect with no issues.

i assume you did notch it out then so the brackets fit?
