Ingalls Stiffy ETD (Engine Torque Damener) for the 2006+ Eclipse GT

NOTE! Below are pictures of the Stiffy installed on the 3rd Generation (2000~2005) Eclipse.

The design of the Stiffy ™ is such that it prevents the engine from violently moving in the engine bay. This reduction in engine movement also reduces wheel hop and improves shifter feel.

The added rigidity of the engine will allow the shift linkage and shift forks to respond to your inputs much more precisely. This improves shift feel as well, reducing the chance of a missed shift and a noticeable improvement in shift engagement.

Once these finally come out of R&D in about 2-3 weeks, Tearstone Performance will be providing a great introductory discount in the group buy section.

Many members in the 3G community have been ecstatic about this mod as it has definitely done wonders for their vehicles in terms of shifting and limiting engine movement.

So you use this in conjunction with the motor mounts for greatly improved traction? Sounds cool.

Nice, I'm in when they arrive. I will do this before motor mounts, looks easy to install??? Do you think the price will be in the same range as the 3g's?

Thanks.

I would imagine so. Right now we put on a group buy for $139 per kit.

With the 8G Galant/3G Eclipse the fit was the same except that they used part of the strut bar assembly. Until the final product comes out for the 4G Eclipse I won't be able to say for sure. Tearstone Performance is dedicated to the 9G Galant as the 4G Eclipse so I will do whatever it takes to figure out what works right for you guys.

Well the GS world started first with a lot of mods and everything, but because none of you bough anything the finally switch to us. I guess is because the GT is so easy to gain HP with a simple mod, that for performance shops is easy to make things without losing a lot of money.

The GS need to first get a Turbo or a Super Charge to get into our range and then start modifying from there, we are more closer to the 300 numbers. Sorry Xeo, but dont worry, the GS are our friends too, we protect you guys
