I honestly doubt relay will solve your problem as it's more of a protection for your stock harness not for your HID bulbs. You can give it a shot anyway. I would say your problem is your ballasts. Have you tried switching to another ballast? since you have tried new set of bulbs, checked all the wires according to your another thread, it's only ballast left. Does your ballast have external ignitor?

A relay kit is relatively easy to install you just have to find places to route and the wires and secure them. I can show you how I routed mine if you don't want to figure it out yourself.

Well like I said you can give it a shot and it's better to have a relay if your car doesn't come with HID so it's win either way. I'll go take some pictures in a bit just check back later.

The pictures are not the greatest since it's tough to actually see what's going on.

What is your problem? If your lights are flickering when the lights are on then a relay kit will solve the problem. If they are flicking when you turn them off then you have to disable the DRL or leave the lights on.

k kinda late, got caught up in some things. heres a diagram i drew in paint.

LEGEND:
Green wiring is for the magnetic (switch/control) portion of the relay
Light blue is for the HID Circuit
Red is positive
Black is negative

for the headlamp low beam wire, use the positive wire that would power up the bulb on the stock harness.

i use the frame for ground, so i just attach a ring terminal to the wire and drill a hole and put in a tapping screw to hold it in place after stripping off a little paint to ensure a proper connection. then i apply a little grease so it doesnt corrode.

for the wiring going to the battery, use thicker gauge since your hid's will draw more amperage so run a wire from the relay to the battery terminal, and then use the same size wire to run from the relay to the connector on the ballast.

You will need an SPDT relay, i'd get these because they come with the harness and you dont have to crimp new spade terminals on the wiring. and it makes it easier to plug and unplug.
10 PACK 30/40 AMP RELAY HARNESS SPDT 12V BOSCH STYLE S - eBay (item 400038450805 end time Jul-18-09 10:47:43 PDT)

keep in mind that you need to make 2 of these for left and right.

of course this is making your own harness kit. u can buy these kits premade like expandables.

That could be 2 reasons

1. You have cheap HIDs
2. You need a relay kit because the HID kit wasnt getting enough power
