Even the aftermarket projectors r not that great. Yes the r better than stock but when u compare them to other projector designs they r nothing special

Yeah neither is the price tho. You get what you pay for. I'm betting the 2009 oem projectors are the same ones they use in the evo 8/9. My happy with the eBay projectors especially considering it has separate low and high so you got another bulb. Maybe if someone makes harness where the low stays on when you turn the brights on it would be very beneficial.

I could begin selling something like this, (I've done this mod for several 3g owners with the dual light sources) basically I could sell the harness with what's needed to convert it so that the high and low beam works simultaneously. I could sell this setup with instructions on how to do the high beam wiring (pretty simple), for around $55 shipped to the 48. If there's interest, that is.

The other good thing about this, is that it works with 2 pairs of halogens (the high and low beam) or 1 pair of H1 (highs) and 1 pair of HIDs (Low). The harness itself will go far to protect the HIDs from premature failure. This harness/instructions can also be included with the H1 HID kit we sell.

You can rig to where it will ground both bulbs out when you turn high on. Idk how car is I haven't looked at a schematic but most other ones are like that. Many different ways you can do it but def use a relay.

Got the harness and installed it today here are the results. This is running Hi's and Low's at the same time and Fogs.

Glad they turned out well! I still have two of these harnesses available. With the harness I know for sure you can run low HIDs with High halogens, if someone were particularly interested in attempting to run 4 HID bulbs simultaneously before purchasing the harness i can test it for you.

Everything is plug and play, it just requires 2 inputs (battery positive and negative), the harness has 4 outputs for the 4 bulbs. The harness not only allows you to run highs and lows simultaneously, but it ensures that your HID kit gets proper power (straight from the battery) so you don't have to worry about melting the stock headlight harness, or having premature failure due to poor power availability. For the two I have left the price is $55+shipping. PM me if you're interested.
