well....I had a hard time finding someone to do the stitching on the cargo mat, so I just did it myself.
(took me about 5hrs.lol Its not perfect, but it'll do for now)

Subs mounted! = D
(finally)

I forgot to wipe them off, theres dust and scuff marks on the sub enclosures, but itll wipe off...

It looks better with the cargo net...

a better look at my stitching job on the cargo mat... lol, can you tell it was my 1st time. : )
I might re-do it eventually... I have a spare...and as you can see, I got better towards the end. lol

now I need to wire up the extra 2 oem amps.
I might end up mounting the 2 extra amps to the right of the subs. Then maybe make a custom box to cover them. (there not pretty)

I'm just gonna add these pics...

these are from the wires at the oem rockford AMPLIFIER. (not the stereo)
located under glove box...

this shows that all 3 power wires are just spliced together.

this shows that the single pink wire, could possibly be the remote wire.
IM NOT SURE, but it could be.
I'd assume the other wires control sub, balance, etc. since there together in 3's...

finished! (for now, I'll re-do the amp rack soon)

everything works great.
Sounds INTENSE!!

Looks great. I still have my 2 hooked up but since you got the three now i must follow....lol you dont need all those wires most are for door speakers i am going to do some fosgate 6.5 in door and put some extra speakers in once i get the time. I will give you the wires you need its only like 4 for each sub so 8 in your case and i think 2 or 3 for the power hit me up ill send you the wires you need hooked up. As for others asking about error code it wont happen you are adding to existing not taking away. Great job. I finnaly found a guy to do my custom muffler bends over the frame so im on my way in about two weeks to start my true dual...

Thanks man
Yeah I just wanted to make sure I used the correct wires.I assumed a couple were to adjust the amp from the stereo.
I really didnt want the ecomm error either, so figured I'd just make my own harness that had all the wires to be safe and clean.
( I didnt want to splice/tap into my cars harness/wires...and if it didnt work, I could just unplug it....)

now I have the 4 extra channels, for adding more mids and highs in the future. : )

I'm also getting a DB reader, and will post DB readings for 1 sub, 2 subs, and 3 subs... for the fun of it....and to show members the difference... (I think just 2 subs would be fine for most members...)
I should be able to just unplug each amp, and still not get the ecomm error now. : )

Thanks for the offer on the wires though, I think I'm all set. I just need to add more speaker wire if I ever want to add more mids/highs.

but if you or anyone else wants to do this, if you buy an amp, and it dosent come with the plugs, I have 1 extra oem amp plug if anyone wants it.
( most dont come with the wires/plugs if you buy them online, you have to go to junk yards and cut them out of cars.)

I have two hooked up ss you know from our private messages. Two works fine with just running 4 12 gauge wires to the back you will need 8 of course. I will post the wires you need to hook up its only 4 or 5 i think. You only need the output side of the amp 4 wire the input is like i said 4 or 5 its easy took me like 20 min to figure it out ill have it on here by tomorrow. My son has the car today.

Instead of carpet im going with aluminum diamond plate custom and i am going to secure it tight so no rattle also on top of eack sub ill screw in diamond plate with silicone on screws so no air loss. It should come out nice.

You could have just gone with 1 amp & wired the subs in series. That would give you more thump with only running 1 amp instead of 2.

Still a cool project though.

If anyone in the eclipse community know who did this to my car please drop me a line.. I want to find the fucker who did this and make them pay for the damages. This is the roof of my eclipse. I have $2700.00 dollars worth of damages. I was being stalked for months by people in Arizona and this is just one of the things that happen to me.. This happened in the parking lot of Mapfre Insurance company while I was working a late night shift..

I think a better option is to put up a video of how they rattle glass

Spec Subwoofer (OEM MIT Rockfoard Fogaste) - What amplifiers?

Hi Guys,

I own a Mit Lancer and won from a friend the Eclispe Rockford Fogaste Subwoofer. Behind the SUB I found the following recording: 8720A0 01 1 Ohm / 1 Ohm 75W / 75W.

Do you know the model so I can choose the amplifier? If you can already tell me models of amplifier I thank you. The amplifier will only be used for the Subwoofer.

I do not understand sound, and I know nothing about the present (model, series, power).

The factory speaker enclosures are entirely too small for the 10" sub! I recently built a custom box to house the sub. HUGE DIFFERENCE! Just lately I added a second sub in another custom box. I am running them parallel off the single amp with no problems. It sounds awesome!

you can get a used oem amp in the for sale section if you want.

or you can get a 1ohm stable aftermarket amp and hook it up.

PM me if you need help...

@NMWBT
not bad man! I think I have some spare carpet if you want it. Your box is very similar to the one I had in my 97 eclipse. I have an amp spot built into the top so the amp sets in it. I still have it. Its now my fish tank stand in my apt. lol
