Might be interested only if they come in the color I want.

Can you use them without the racing harness?

I also think you should change the cheap to inexpensive. When I hear cheap I think, poorly made.

haha yea I know. But if you type in "Racing Seats" on google take a look at the autofill #3 searched phrase. It's "Racing Seats Cheap" ... we used the word cheap in the blog post for search rankings because that's what people search. But yea, they really are nice quality too.

I've seen a lot of low cost "cheap" racing seats over the years and for the most part they are usually not that great with a handful of exceptions. fabric quality and crappy stitching is the #1 things people skimp on. Cipher (the company that makes these did an AWESOME job using quality materials while keeping cost down. For the money these are some amazing seats. *I'll be putting these in my 350z after winter starts to break

The seats with the sliders installed are just about 25lbs.

Got pics of these in an eclipse or similar car? I guess you lose the sensors for the airbags right?

yah i do but unless they have fixed the mounting brackets you will not be ablle to get all the bolts in the seat and you will only be able to slide the seat back about 2/3rd's of the way back wil maybe a problem if your over 6 foot tall. the seats are great the brackets suck.

I wish I could see these seats on an eclipse in person. I am iffy on them. Not so much money, but just the fact I'd lose some features, wanna make sure its what I want.

here's a few more pictures... not any in a 4th gen Eclipse. The type-r style in the first pics are a 2006 Civic and the next two seats are in a Genesis Coupe.

I am very interested in these seats. Kinda wish I would have saw them before I placed my order Saturday. Couple questions:

Is there any way to eliminate the airbag light and the seatbelt light/beep?
Does anyone have these that had leather/heated seats and are they as or more comfortable and is it worth giving up the premium seats?

very cool but I actually like the seats in the car now. but if I were going to change mine out -I'd get these. the OEM ones are cool b/c they are a close approximation of racing seats - similar shape and all. + mine are heated! I don't know if I could do w/out that!

I feel you joey but I love the whole red seat/green harness look. I've never been a huge fan of leather and red and green set up will really spice up the interior . I just need to find some green harnesses

These seats are awesome, I looks and thought hard for a while about purchasing these expecially at this price! I've Decieded i like my heated leather more, i also have ocd about lights on the dash so it would drive me crazy. Remember guys and gals you can cut out the honeycomb mesh and put in the roll bar with 5 points like i did. Our seats are practically already racing seats.

Yeah, I love our seats but they weigh like 60-70lbs. I feel that red seats with green harnesses would look beyond sick though. I've always wanted that combo in a car of mine
