well first off i started a little Modification Company called "Jrods Mods"...

Well i have developed a way to deliver carbon fiber strength and look with a metal like substance that chemically bonds to whatever plastic component i am given... i have completed some for 3 vehicles now.

pros:
harder than real CF
doesn't scratch or have resin bubbles
doesn't yellow in heat or in direct sun
can conform in very complicated pieces
is wonderful in wear areas most of the time those are very visual pieces
it is 1/2 to 1/4 the cost of real CF

cons:
it is NOT Carbon fiber
it is twice the price of the overlay stickers
it takes me a long while to complete a piece

BUT, to vouch for J-Rod's comment about the quality and workmanship of these pieces, they are VERY well made! As opposed to overlaid CF, which tends to wrap around piece edges rather harshly, hydrographic pieces are very clean-cut wrapped around the edges, and don't look custom at all! They look very even and, based on his pieces, are virtually flawless! No weave irregularities, no bubbling, no lift. Most of all, no cracking!

Stuff you find in most aftermarket pieces. Again, mostly because they're made cheaply.

I'd recommend these in a heartbeat! Not just because I know this mofo...

Hey guys let me just say that these pieces are amazing! I have the clock dome, door sills, and the rear emblem, and I absolutely love them! I will try to get some pictures of them installed tomorrow so you can see what it looks like on the car. Products are very durable, and the packaging was great! I truly great seller and great communication through out the whole process. I ordered these while I was still in Iraq, and I had them sitting there ready the day before i got back! Great guy who will work with you to get you what you want!

Now I just need to see about getting my dash piece wrapped, since I got that Pioneer Navigation put in!

Damn of this was real cf I'd sent you all my parts right now. How hard/expensive can a roll of cf cloth and resin cost to fo layovers? I can picture solid pieces being a process but layover I wouldn't think are too hard compared to what this is...is it?

well see i could but there is WAY!!!! more draw backs... hence y i am even offering this... look up top for the pros and cons... i have the ability to doing that but real CF is nice... it looks great and all... it even serves a purpose but if you want your interior done... i now have the ability to make it all uniform... no yellowing, cracking, peeling, or warping... for a STRONG!!!! Uniform... less expensive product im your man... if you just want CF overlay'd u can youtube the process over and over again... go get some materials and try it out... i just don't want to make anything EVER that has a possibility of biting my ass bc it will naturally do all those things and there really isn't a way to avoid unless i used a compression chamber/used really high end clear/and maintained it myself... (that would be major $$$$$)

^i could explain myself better when i say WAY!!!! more draw backs... CF as a OVERLAY is the problem... but a solid or integrated CF system is top-notch (like someone's product that will be presented to the public soon

) but the overlay in this situation is just foolish for me right now... ill be able to do other things than CF soon as well so this allows me to do virtually anything

How hard/expensive can a roll of cf cloth and resin cost to fo layovers? I can picture solid pieces being a process but layover I wouldn't think are too hard compared to what this is...is it?

CF as a OVERLAY is the problem... but a solid or integrated CF system is top-notch (like someone's product that will be presented to the public soon ) but the overlay in this situation is just foolish for me right now... ill be able to do other things than CF soon as well so this allows me to do virtually anything
