Sorry to hear I'd jump on that manifold but I'm currently fabbing one. Someone who wants to get some boost needs to grab that asap though because they are hard to find as he said thus why I started making my own. Good luck with everything glad to hear you're ok.

I'm tempted to buy the manifold..... Could you explain why one of the holes needs to be retapped and how it happened?

sorry for late response, one of the holes im referring to is where the turbo bolts up to, it need to be re-tapped because one of the bolts i had that came with the manifold had somehow got stuck idk how but it did , I had to unscrew it as much as i could and force the bolt out the rest of the way other than that the manifold is still very usable, that's why i kept the thing lol

I think if you put slimline fans on your radiator it should help free up some space

DSM flange FTW...

4G69 works very well with a big 16g, Evo 3 16g or better yet a 68HTA.

lol seals? i've seen people with compression issues that had to have their whole engine replaced, compression lower than 6.8 psi= time for a new engine. the norm compression wise for this engine is usually low 7's through low 8's...

as for seals i already have that covered and it isnt usually an issue if im not boosting past 10 psi , besides that, I havent came across anyone having any issues the rotary itself already runs kind of high compression , idiots just keep boosting too high without running aftermarket seals such as goopy or esmeril or atkins , about two years ago Esmeril racing only replaced the apex seals with the stock engine and upped there boost to 16 PSI and now they are running 414whp on a mostly stock engine. but, the best seals someone can get for any rotary engine is ceramic they are build for 20+ psi easily over 500 hp the bad part is, to have the seals replaced it can cost easily between 2 - 5 grand depending on the shop.

It's might just the rx7s I was told by a Mazda guy that the seals blow at about 50k miles of being replaced but it might just be the cheap stock seals and that's why they blow.. I know more about Mitsubishis than I do mazdas though Hahaha

Rotarys are sick though!

you're going to need stronger rods...oh wait...

stock, they are not very fast and the torque is almost as bad as a civic si...my lancer when it was stock felt better than both, though the rx-8 is a little bit faster...now i make 5.0L mustangs leave the track early
