4 cy kits.

We have the 4g 4cy turbo kits now. Takes 2-3 weeks for an order to be completed. Some of the kit info is on our new website.

Of importance is we use the AEM FIC with direct plug in harness. RC injectors. And we work with the end user on their mapping.

Also the turbos we use in both 4 cy kits each have a one year warranty. The exhaust manifolds have a two year warranty as well. In the future we may offer a lifetime warranty on the manifolds.

The same intercooler is used on both kits. As well as the 4g V-6 kit.

Hope to release the V-6 kit soon. Will post details.

thanks for interest in our products.

Turbo brand ?? Ballbearing , single scroll , cfms..........
Manifold brand ??

Are these custom made or made to fit existing turbos . I would love to change the meaning of GT on my Spyder to Giant Turbo .

V6 Kits (In Development)

Standard kit
Uses the same turbo from our 3G V-6 kit. A Mitsubishi TD06H turbo. 650 cfm with an internal wastegate. Water cooled unit. Kit uses the stock exhaust manifolds. Same FMIC used in the 4 cy kit. RC injectors of 370 and 440 cc sizes are available. Typical power gains are 120 hp on 5-6 psi. Turbo can make 400 hp when maxed out on a built engine. Average power is in the 310-325 range with this kit on low boost.

Garret kit
Same as the kit above but uses a T3T4 turbo and external wastegate. No headers, kit uses the stock manifolds. Much more reliable and less likely to leak. While headers look fancy, when they leak exhaust gas needed to spool the turbo they suddenly are not such a good idea. Especially in cold climates where thermal expansion and contraction tend to shorten a headers life cycle. Various sizes of turbos are available in this kit depending on the customers power goals. On stock internals suggest boost is limited to 9-10 psi.

well first off props to you for making the kit that everybody is clamoring for.

that being said.....do you have a customer or shop vehicle that has a working kit? One that has been roadtested for atleast a few weeks if not months to work out any bugs?

as for the manifolds...are they sourced from RRE or built from scratch. and are you using Brian's FIC harness or hardwiring the units?

The kit they mocked up on some chicks car then took it off. Not been road tested, but from what I was told it's the bare basics kit that RRE put together. My car is going to IPS Motorsports in Jan, so hopefully they will offer more for the 4G after that.

No one has tested this kit. He had a bad reputation with the 3G turbo kit he produced. Whynott on the .com site is selling a turbo kit for $3,000 if you are in the market for one.

Anything on the GT kit Doug? I know it's been almost 2 years...but do you have any working ones? If not, I'd be willing to be a test vehicle for the V6 kit...

I'm a few hours from Nevada in San Diego.

its not a performance issue as much as an weird mounting issue for the turbo and wastegate I think. Cant be sure though because I dont have one, but if I had to make an guess that would be it.

^Yeah that is going to be the issue is that it really limits you on your compressor size unless you want to make some sort of 45 through 90 degree T3 flange. I don't know why I didn't think of that before...

i've been sitting on a small stack of money, waiting for an actually kit for the gs to come up, an actual 98% complete kit, if not 100percent. Don't care if its s/c or turbo'd at this point. I don't want to go custom and won't deal with it.

^Dude. I have a thread that lists out pretty much everything you need to buy. I literally have a detailed piece by piece gig. So all you have to do is grab an excel sheet and fill out what part you want to brand you want for the different parts and you are golden. I can hook you up with the sites that I bought off of if you are interested. It really isn't all that tough once things get moving.

your right, thats the problem though. companies will not spend money on r&d unless they know they can sell so many of them to recoup costs and make money. a lot people say that wanna go FI but they back out when they see other people having problems or they see the costs. i plan on going fi i have started to gather all of the internal engine build parts but it will take some time before im done. for right now im using chemical FI.
