The brace that holds the intake in place was about 3 inchs off and my MAF sensor rubber gasket would not fit in the hole. I took a nail file and went around the hole nice and slow two times and it was still two small. I didn't want to take anymore chances so I just set it on top and tightened the screws evenly and the gasket still sits on top of the metal and she works 100% fine and with the bracket. Well pictures say it all.
I previously had a Weapon R intake, and let me tell you. Weapon R guys please. Please please please trust me! I was that guy who pushed everyones bad reviews aside because I owned it for 10k miles and has 0 problems other then CEL 1 or 2 times but it would go off with in 30 miles. After I installed my DC sports i got 380 to 420 miles a tank and with Weapon R. it was about 280 to 300. I wish I could make this up!!!! The sound was not as good as Weapon R. From my understanding the sound was the only thing they did right.

Wow that's bad... I heard nothing but good things about the DC, didn't think it would have so many clearance issues.

DR3 has a spectacular aura about
You should definitely double check the part number they could have sent you the CAI for a different car.

I have the right intake I have a big battery and the intake touches the battery so my battery is the reason my support brace don't connect right. But it could have been machine error for my MAF

Then it's a design flaw, or possibly a bad batch of intakes. Do any other GS guys with DC CAIs have this problem?
