Bah, do it, it's actually really helpful for people who didn't get a chance to dyno stock. I would say it's more embarrassing than posting a dyno after you've done a mod and you are 20-30hp short of what you expected.
Plus you paid to get those numbers, so share em!

![]() AEM CAI, RRE shorties, no cats, tb bypass, ported intake manifold and TB, RRE axleback. It is the stock pipe and the weather was over 100 degrees. When I go back before I get a tune It should be closer to 255whp before the tune. It is also a dyno dynamics.

Alright.
When I get back and get a chance to go to a Mustang or Dyno Dynamics I will, just so I have a sheet with the same type as everyone else. Since no one in the US trusts a dynapack. All I know is that RPW swears by it. Thats good enough for me. Either way 287.9 whp, 269.9wtq. Dynapack 4000. Injen short ram, RRE shorties (no EGR version) , stock exhaust pipe, gutted cat, no muffler, my TB bypass, very mildly ported TB, upper and lower intake plenum, royal purple 5w20. ![]() The thick line is after the manifold porting, the thin is before. Soon to come, new y-pipe, 2.5 inch dual exhaust, and a tune. over 300whp all motor FTW!

Updated the original post and put in dyno categories so that we can have some sort of competition with this. Although we only have a handful of people on this list so far it is sure to grow.
Get your car on the rollers and claim your spot! Note: for now, the only difference we'll make will be between all motor and forced induction and between the different types of dynos. Also, if you haven't dyno'd your car yet, but are interested in doing so, I would recommend using a 'Dyno Jet' or a 'Dyno Dynamics', being those (so far) are the most used type of dyno on our list. Edit: ALSO!!!! Come on you Supercharged people! You MUST have dyno'd your car... post your shit so we can see those gains!!

You know what I think is funny... awhile back all the Ripp header lovers were saying how they had dyno number for the headers and the RRE headers didn't.... It's funny how there are no RIPP headers up there and just RRE's..... Ripp is the only people that has dynoed there on headers.

It's funny that I think we ran RIPP off from here due to all our skeptics and devils' advocates. Man... I just have to say though, you guys...I think everyone on this thread needs e-Rep! You folks are REALLY awesome for stepping up to the plate and contributing to the development of, not just products per se, but the perception of this car to the public, and blowing everyone's expectations away.... or should I say, blow by them :bightumb: Knock em dead boys. Hopefully I'll follow suit soon in the FI category. No go-fast mods here till the engine build. And I will get a baseline done. Then, if parts design for the headers is compatible with the stock downpipe, I might throw a run in there too. But I'll def. document the shit out of that... when the time comes and I know I can be committed to it 100%.

Yea it's prob due to the cats being gone... Mines right in the 10 afr and they Dan's old headers. the only difference in the set up is the intake manifold and no third cat.

I have a setup similar to his though and I dip down to 10 A/F ratio for a bit, it bumps up to 10.5 again, but that's still terrible. Again running about the same setup he is, intake, RRE headers, and my exhaust is catback, so I still have my 3rd cat.
Next time I dyno i'll have 2.5" piping + resonator + magnaflow muffler from the headers back, and hopefully the AEM tuned, and i'm hoping for 250+ on the dynamic. Hoping to pick up a couple on deleting the last cat, and hoping to gain at least 10 from a tune. Sad i'm gonna spend that much money just for 10-20whp, but I figure the AEM is something I can easily resell down the road, or keep and use on a different car when that time comes. As well as possibly being able to activate MIVEC around 3k RPM instead of 4k. I wonder what our power band would look like with MIVEC engaging that much sooner?

hmmmm something like this maybe?
![]() hahahaha yeah, being optimistic i am thinking closer to 20+ from a tune man. but yeah, no way to know until it's done. I should be rolling on it by christmas. i will be sure to mustang dyno it as well as my dynapack. once tuned and the brembo's put on i think im gonna whore it to a few mags and try to get a nibble on the bait.

Shit... on the next run with a lower temp and the stright pipe in and the intake manifold spacer on I hope to be at 260 before the tune.... I'm really hoping for 280whp with the tune but like horse said you never know till it's done.
Yes Slipp I'm throwing three codes... one for no EGR (mines the no EGR verson like Horse) and two for no rear O2 sensors.

I'm going back and forth on what I want to do... I could get one custom made..(I have a spare gasket). Or I could try the one from Russ for 160ish...
IDK yet but I'm going to get one and have it on before the tune... I would also like to have your Y-pipe on before the tune.. and I'm leaning towards getting the TB bored... Idk 250 is alot for that one though.![]() Your deff not stepping on my toes. If I do find a place that would make one and can get them mass-produced and you did the same then that would be just good for the 4g eclipse owners. Do what you want to do Horse and share all your info

y- pipe will be soon. the place i think is gonna do my initial design for free. which mean it will go into test and dyno phase very quickly. hopefully by the 1st of the year, but i dont wanna make any promises.
but definatly before i leave for iraq, there will be... y-pipe manifold spacer .... well i thought i had more, but apparently i forget everything when it is time to type...

Yeah I thought about the EGR valve... well pretty much any sensor.. all it is is a spec Voltage and if you can copy the right voltage then you computer shouldn't know anything is wrong...
I already have some O2 sims just haven't really had time to put them on.

ok just thinking out loud... ya think this could have anything to contribute to the hi-piggy smell-ratio? Coz I'm thinking it does. a LOT.

Hmmm... something to play around with this weekend. I may have to try it out just for you kiddies, depending on whether or not I have the bandwidth.

I can't wait to see what kind of difference taking out the last cat makes. I've been thinking about it a bunch, i'm trying to push it, but i'm having a buddy do all of the welding and stuff for me so I hate sounding like a pest asking him every week about it.
I suppose waiting for Carl's results will be best... but he's doing something a lot different. horse are you going to dyno after you do the X pipe thing or will there be a dyno where you have put on your new Y pipe without the dual exhaust? My expectations are to hopefully pick up a couple ponies on finishing the exhaust (could go either way at this point though), and hopefully the 15whp reported from Elefex on tuning next spring, should get me over 250, close to 260.

280 here I come... Don't forget the intake manifold spacer, which I'm trying to talk to Russ about, that I will have on and the Bigger tb. I hope I get 10whp out of those mods then 15 from a tune and if I'm lucky at least 5 from the bigger y-pipe...
![]() lets do the math. I did a 244whp on the dyno with 100+ temp. With the stright pipe I should be at around 255 with the cooler temp but we will use a 5hp gain from the pipe... cause thats what I'm pretty sure I gained. 249+10+5+15=279 just for kicks and giggles we will add in the 6 extra hp... that makes a total of 285whp that would be nice but who knows till the thing is dynoed again. ...... I love that smiley

Oh you are selling it as well? Good shit then.. maybe i'll just get mine off you then if it's reasonable shipping. I just realized your already gutted your cat anyway, so your before/after will be a bit off then huh? As long as you show a positive gain though then that's all I need to know.
Also how far back is it going to go? As far as I need it?

AEM CAI w/ bypass valve, Works Exhale cat-back, RRE headers, RIPP oil-catch, TB bypass, Bosch iridium fusion plugs, 92 octane pump gas. Mustang Dyno. The outside temp was about 45 degrees but the program for the dyno should have corrected for the temp.
