Springsssss

I am thinking about buying lowering springs but I have no idea which ones are good and what spring rate I need. I have the stock 17 inch tires and maybe in the future will move up to 18in tires but not right now because I'm not rich enough. And what is the difference between coil covers and lowering springs? Sorry I dont know much about modding my car haha

GT is suppose to have 18" stock I think

you can find good deals on springs around here easy. most guys would probably say grab the Pro-Kit by Eibach (1.5" drop), but I am not sure where a good price is.
I have the Tein Htechs (1.9" drop) myself and I think there is a thread w/ a good discount code for like -$218 shipped. let me know if you can't find it and I'll dig it up for you

Theres plenty of variety on springs, depending on how low you wanna go. if your lookin for 1.5 then eibach is the way to go. best ride quality by far, and it kills that ugly gap

When it comes to performance parts, especially something as crucial as your suspension, cheap is not the way to go. You honestly get what you pay for and if something is horribly extra cheap, that's the quality you're going to get. I personally went to Road///Race Engineering Mitsubishi Eclipse Parts and Performance and picked myself up some Eibach Pro Kit springs. I don't have em installed yet, but that's happening this weekend, but from the look at least of them they're heavy duty and well worth the 220 bucks I spent on em. Hell, ask half the guys around here that have them, I'm sure it's worth your money. If you really want a goooooood set of springs you could either go Coilover kit or WORKS makes a great set according to a few of the members on here. There's tons of threads on lowering springs and suspension...check out some of them...you'll learn alot.
