header install

Just throwing it out there I need a good shop in the Tampa bay area or someone in a decent distance close to me that has the tools and wants to make some extra cash and put headers on my car.I just don't want to get raped by a shop.

You can use stainless band clamps from the cat delete pipe, to you're custom pipe and you would never need to weld it. It should be a slip fit to any standard 2.5" exhaust, or in you're case you're custom exhaust. Welding is ideal but not necessary if you use the sweet stainless band clamps.

you'll have a exhaust leek at worst so it will hurt your power a bit till fixed but that's it an yes the long tubes are load an your exhaust was already really loud so with headers it will be mad loud.

If your patient yes you can. I refused to lay on my back on a cobble stone driveway for 6hrs to do it though. So I payed somebody. Only mod I didn't do my self. Well that and my exhaust but that required tools I don't have like pipebenders. So I don't count that.lol

I did the headers and spacers at the same time....it was better access to the rear header with the intake off so the spacers were easy to do at the same time. I have done the front mount but not the back....it looked like a real bear to tangle with. i have the OBX LTs and love 'em.....just got to get those codes to stay away. You are going to need to extend your O2 sensor wires so be prepared for that. A sawzall was my best friend on the rear bank of the factory exhaust manifolds. The headers go on easy once you get all the factory crap off.
